Strictly Come Dancing Odds as Bet365 indicate increased bets on Robbie Savage and Holly Valance

Ahead of this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing live show, professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev has spoken of his gratitude to Brendan Cole for stepping into his shoes as Bet365 announce free bets on tonight’s show.

Artem – who won the show last year witch Kara Tointon – has been forced to pull out with a back injury, meaning that Brendan will dance with Holly Valance on Saturday evening.

Bet365 have been in touch to tell us they will offer free bets worth £200 to all SqueakyBumTime visitors to spend on Strictly Come Dancing, elimination or outright winner. A free £200 bet on Holly Valance to win at 9/1 could net you £1800! Pick up your exclusive Strictly free bet here!

Referring to this weekend’s show, Artem said: “I’m sad not to be dancing with Holly this weekend, but I’m grateful that Brendan is quickstepping in to fill my dancing shoes, and the two of them will be fantastic.”

“I’ve worked with them all week choreographing the routine, and it will be a great one to watch on Saturday.”

Holly has also spoken of being grateful to Brendan for stepping in and hopes that the two can perform well together in front of millions of people and an expectant judging panel.

The former Neighbours star said: “I’m obviously disappointed I won’t be dancing with Artem this weekend, but his wellbeing is very important to me, and Brendan is an awesome guy and we’re working hard to bring something new and exciting to this Saturday’s show.”

The pair will be dancing to Will Young’s Leave Right Now this weekend, but they will be hoping that they are able to remain in the competition for at least another week.

Elsewhere, one of the stars of this year’s show Russell Grant has revealed that the Strictly bosses underestimated him when they selected him to take part.

The 60-year-old said: “When BBC producers asked me to do Strictly Come Dancing I don’t think they knew what I could do.”

“They thought before I did the very first dance that I was going to be another John Sergeant or Ann Widdecombe and I used this to my advantage.”

Finding out what Russell has in store each week is certainly very exciting for the audience and it will be no different this weekend as we look set for another entertaining weekend on Strictly Come Dancing.

Saturday’s live show gets underway at 6.55pm on BBC One.
