Coral Enhanced price both teams to score 5/2
Coral have announced they are offering an ENHANCED PRICE on both teams to score tonight, from 8/13 to a massive 5/2! More details below!
Arsenal will look to reclaim top spot when they welcome Chelsea to the Emirates tonight.
Wins for Liverpool and Manchester City saw the Gunners slip to third in the table and a second successive league defeat would see Arsene Wenger’s side wake up Christmas morning fourth in the standings.
Chelsea meanwhile could also make a significant move in the standing as a win would put them level on points with Liverpool at the top, a jump of four places, from their current fifth place.
Jose Mourinho’s have a good recent record against Arsenal and are unbeaten in their last four clashes with their London rivals including a 2-0 success when the two teams met in the Capital One Cup earlier in the season.
The Blues won both clashes 2-1 last season but Arsenal have not lost at home in the league since their surprise defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
The club will head into the game without left back Ashley Cole after the England international incurred the wrath of his manager for reportedly attending the Arsenal Christmas party.
In his pre-match press conference Mourinho revealed that Cole would be either on the bench or at home for the game although he did not criticise the defender.
Cesar Azpilicueta will cover for Cole with Branislav Ivanovic resuming his right back slot after missing the league cup clash with Sunderland through suspension.
The club have no other worries ahead of the game with long term absentee Marco Van Ginkel side lined for the season.
Arsenal meanwhile will be without influential defender Laurent Koscielny after he suffered a nasty gash to his knee in the 6-3 loss to Manchester City although but Lukas Podolski could make his long awaited return following a hamstring problem.
The Gunners will also be without midfielder Jack Wilshere following his retrospective ban for an offensive gesture in the City game.
The England midfielder is set to miss the clashes with Chelsea and West Ham.
Long term absentee’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby (both knee) both remain side-lined.
It should be an exhilarating clash at the Emirates, and with Tottenham and Everton both claiming three points yesterday, it is getting very tight at the top.
A win for either side would give a welcome shift in momentum over the Christmas – it’s sure to be a cracker!
