Its certainly been a busy few days as the firm announces that it is expecting plenty of activity with Serena Williams taking the stage in the big game of the day.

Williams cruised into the second round with a straight sets victory over world number 155 Ashleigh Barty, and looked imperious under the heat of the Melbourne sun in dropping only three games to victory, in a match which lasted less than an hour.

Although playing under soaring temperatures of Melbourne, the American cruised through with little mishap.

She commented :“It was a little tricky out there, it’s good to get through that match…I’m just really happy to finish that one.”

She will now face Serbia’s Vesna Dolonc who defeated Spain’s Lara Arruabarrena in three sets, fighting back from a set down to take the victory 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

The match against Serena Williams will mark only the third time the Serb has reached the second round, having played in six Australian Open tournaments.

This is the first time these two have met on the Tour, and predictably the American is being backed off the boards to taste victory.

At odds of 1/100 to secure passage into round two, there is little value in backing the number one seed, with the 2-0 set scoreline available at 1/16.

There is little doubt that Serena Williams will make the third round, and this is one game that should be enjoyed as a sporting spectacle.
