As has become the norm this season, the Red Devils will be without a host of players for the clash with Daley Blind the latest name on an ever growing list. The midfielder, a key player for the Red Devils this season, injured his knee on duty with Holland and faces a spell out.

Also injured representing their country were David De Gea (dislocated finger) and Michael Carrick (groin). Of the two De Gea is expected to be fit, as too is Angel di Maria. The Argentinian star was the subject of a tough tackle midweek from Portuguese international Nani, currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon from United, but is expected to be fit.

The absence of Blind and Carrick means that Louis van Hall could be without up to 11 players on Saturday with Marco Rojo, Ashley Young, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones, Rafael and Jesse Lingard definitely out.

While Luke Shaw and Radamel Falcao are also doubts with a groin injury and a slight knock respectively.
Arsenal for their part will also be without key players with Mathieu Debuchy, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny out however Olivier Giroud is in line to play after making a faster than expected re-covery from a broken ankle.

Mike Arteta is also available after a hamstring strain while Yaya Sanyo played and scored for the French UK team during the international break. Danny Welbeck, with 10 goals for club and country this season, will make his first return to Old Trafford since quitting Manchester in August while Alexis Sanchez will be out maintain his blistering form having scored nine goals in his last eight appearances for his club and Chile.
