Gunners closing in on Polish wonderkid

According to reports, Arsenal are getting nearer and nearer to acquiring the services of highly-rated Polish defensive midfielder, Krystian Bielik.

Bielik, who is currently under contract at Legia Warsaw, the same club that produced Robert Lewandowski, has been scouted by the Gunners scouts on numerous occasions over the past few months and Arsene Wenger has seen enough to be convinced of the talented midfielder.

Report claim that a £1.6 million bid has already been made to the Polish giants and the player has already agreed terms over a transfer to the Emirates Stadium.

Should the move materialize during the January transfer window, it would be a huge coup for Wenger who has been thwarted in his attempts to acquire the services of the likes of Sami Khedira, Morgan Schneiderlin and William Carvalho during the summer transfer window.

Moreover, at the age of 16, the young midfielder offers a great long-term investment to the London giants and with the way his career has taken off, he should be able to adjust to new surroundings in a timely fashion.

However, Bielik is still not sure whether he should join the club right now or during the next summer transfer window with the latter option giving other suitors a chance to possibly hijack the move.
