The Gunners manager says that he will definitely be in the market in order to strengthen the squad and will pay for a player if the right one is available.
The Gunners have been notoriously thrifty in the transfer markets of yesteryears but following the acquisitions of the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, the winds of change are indeed blowing and Arsene Wenger is no more shy to spend money where he feels he should.
And following a 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday in an encounter where the Gunners were exposed by the Reds more often than not, it is clear that the team needs to have more depth in the squad in a bid to mount a challenge for a place in the top four.
Moreover, with Laurent Koscielny showing constant injury worries, it is clear that the team needs a new center back. And, Wenger has said that he will be prepared to buy a player as long as the deal is right.
While talking to reporters, the Frenchman stated that he is not scared to spend money but he does not like spending when there is no money. Now that he does have enough cash in the coffers, Wenger says that he will buy a few more players to strengthen the team.
