Former Arsenal star predicts Sanchez to stay for a while

Perry Groves believes that star forward, Alexis Sanchez will definitely be staying at the Emirates for at least a couple of seasons

A few days back, former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright feared that the Gunners might not be able to hold on to star player Alexis Sanchez if they do not finish in the top four of the league table by the end of the season.

The Chile international arrived in London from Barcelona during the summer transfer window but despite not playing in England before, has taken to his new surroundings and has been by far their best player so far this season.

And, many people fear that Sanchez could leave the club if the performances don’t improve.

However, Perry Groves is confident that Sanchez will stay at the club for at least a couple of seasons because he is happy here and is doing absolutely fantastic for his new team.

“He has bought into the club and the club ethos. He looks happy. He is playing well and scoring goals. His attitude is fantastic,” said Groves while talking to reporters.

With 13 goals and six assists, Sanchez is a vital player for Arsene Wenger’s side and indeed, the Gunners would not be able to find a replacement should the Chile international choose to seek a new club in the near future.
