PSG give up on Petr Cech to leave field open for Arsenal

According to reports, French Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain have given up on their dream of bringing goalkeeper Petr Cech to Parc des Princes after they were told that the Czech shot stopper prefers a move to Arsenal.

The former Stade Rennais custodian has been at Chelsea for a very long time but the emergence of Thibaut Courtois as the new number one means that game time is a limited offer for him at Stamford Bridge. However, the shot-stopper is keen on staying in London and has asked Jose Mourinho to allow him to leave for Arsenal who are really keen on acquiring his services.

According to rumours, Wenger is not really very confident about the credentials of current number one David Ospina who is still getting used to the Premier League way of playing the game and wants a back up option to the Chile international so that he has enough time to understand English football.
