Gunners prepare £13m bid for Daniele Rugani of Juventus

According to reports, Arsenal are set to mount an audacious bid for unproven Juventus talent, Daniele Rugani who has apparently been told by his employers that he does not have a future in Turin for now.

[sociallocker]The young defender is seen by Arsene Wenger as a great alternative to German international Per Mertasacker and the Frenchman believes that Rugani can develop into one of the best defenders in Europe if coached the right way.

And the youngster is also keen on playing at a club where he is given enough game time.

However, Arsenal will have to mount a better bid than the last time and have to speed things up since Napoli are also hot on the player’s trail.

The youngster was part owned by Napoli last season but Juve signed him outrightly this year.

The club is not willing to completely sell the player to Arsenal and are likely to include a first refusal clause on the player’s contract so that they can come back for him in case he lives up to his billing.
