Arsenal CEO confirms interest in Petr Cech

Arsenal chief executive, Ivan Gazidis has confirmed that the club is interested in signing former Czech Republic international, Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer.

The Gunners are really desperate to add a new keeper to their ranks with manager Arsene Wenger pointing out to Cech as the man he wants. And the club is making every effort to bring the Premier League winner to the Emirates.

While talking to reporters, Gazidis confirmed his interest in the custodian, stating that currently talks between the two clubs are poised very delicately.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are also closing in on convincing England international, Theo Walcott to sign a long term deal. The 26 year old winger is attracting a lot of interest from the Blues but the Gunners are not looking to let him join Mourinho’s side and want the extension done as soon as possible.
