Gunners set to sell Ospina

Arsenal are on the verge of securing the services of Chelsea shot stopper Petr Cech with rumours in media circulating that the club has already agreed to a 3.8 million pounds fee for the transfer of current number 1, David Ospina, to Turkish Super Lig giants, Fenerbahce.

Ospina had a really decent debut season in the Premier League for the Gunners but Arsene Wenger is not really confident of the Colombian international’s ability to survive in England and has therefore opted for a more reliable and experienced alternative in the shape of Cech who has been confined to the bench since the emergence of Belgium international, Thibaut Courtois.

Moreover, Cech is keen on staying in London despite the fact that Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to offer him a much more lucrative deal. The Czech Republic man is more worried about game time than a fat pay cheque at the moment and has hence vetoed a move outside England.
