Germany international, Lukas Podolski is edging closer to an exit from Arsenal after reports in English and Turkish media claimed that the former Bayern Munich striker is already discussing terms over a move to Turkish Super Lig side, Galatasaray.
The German signed for the Gunners a few years back from Cologne and failed to nail down a spot in the starting XI on a regular basis. Last season, Podolski spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Internazionale where he again struggled to get minutes on the pitch.
And after being told by Arsene Wenger that he has no future at the Emirates, Podolski had been looking for a new club for a really long time and is set to join Galatasaray where he is reportedly being offered a lucrative contract and one last chance to resurrect his career.
And according to the club’s sporting director, Cuneyt Tanman, the Super Lig side are in negotiations to sign the former Bayern Munich hitman.
“We are dealing with Podolski,” he said.
