The France international is apparently close to signing for Manchester United but his first preference would always be a move to The Emirates
According to reports, the French midfielder is edging closer to signing a lucrative deal with Louis van Gaal’s side but it has also been reported that the Southampton man still prefers a move to Arsenal who have not submitted an official bid to the Saints so far.
The Frenchman has been one of the most consistent midfielders in English football for the last two seasons and although he has attracted a lot of interest from Arsene Wenger, could end up signing for the Red Devils who are going to approach Southampton with another offer for the 25 year old France international.
Schneiderlin has previously stated he would only depart Saints for a Champions League team, saying: “Of course the Champions League is my goal. If I leave Southampton it will be for a club in the Champions League.”
