The Gunners manager says that he has been really impressed with what he has seen of the young forward and has tipped him for a great career
The 19 year old forward scored his first ever professional hat trick in a 4-0 win over Singapore Selection which saw the London giants seal a place in the Asia Trophy Final.
And the French tactician was really impressed with what he saw from the teenager who scored one goal in the first half and scored two more in the second half.
“We got what we wanted. Players were good, quick, mobile, were a bit tired in the end.”
“I know he (Akpom) he has an aggressive desire in the box to score and do the right things in the box and he can play in the first team – he showed that. I believe he can (make a regular presence in the first team) but the rest is always up to the players. Now, he has to remain focused and determined after tonight’s performance.”
