Arsenal need to go big for Alexandre Lacazette

Olympique Lyonnais president, Jean-Michel Aulas has stated that any club interested in signing the young striker, must pay 42 million pounds

The France international has been in superb form for Les Gones over the last few months and was the top goal scorer in Ligue 1 last season. After some really stellar displays for the Rhone outfit, the youngster has attracted the interest of a host of European outfits including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, it is the Gunners who have shown solid interest in the striker but the London giants will need to pay a huge sum of money if they really want to get their hands on the prolific striker.

The club’s coach, Laurent Fournier is not worried about the situation and says that the club doesn’t really need to sell its star player.

He said: “I’m not worried about Alexandre.

“Of course, if a €50-60m (£35-42m) bid was tabled, I will no doubt have to prepare for his exit and wish him good luck, but I really feel like he wants to stay.”
