According to reports, Arsene Wenger is more than willing to outbid AC Milan in a bid to get his hands on young Alessio Romagnoli
AC Milan have been particularly keen on signing the 20 year old centre back but the club’s vice president, Adriano Galliani has said that the San Siro giants will not increase their offer the the defender who is currently under contract with AS Roma, thus paving the way for Wenger to swoop in and lure the youngster away from Rome.
Milan have had a 25 million euro bid rejected by Rudi Garcia’s side but have been told to up their offer by five million in order to stand a chance to sign the player. Wenger on the other hand, will take comfort from the fact that Milan might not move heaven and earth for the young defender after Galliani stated that, “Our offer for Romagnoli is unchangeable,”
“Romagnoli is an interesting player and if we can, we will satisfy our coach. “Otherwise, we will look at other alternatives.”
