The Arsenal manager says that the Polish international still has a future at the Emirates despite being on the verge of joining Roma for next season
Italian Serie A giants, AS Roma, are on the verge of securing the services of Wojciech Szczesny on a season long loan for Arsenal which could effectively mean the end of the goalkeeper’s career with the London based club.
Following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea who will be the club’s new number one, the Poland international was bound to struggle to get enough game time on the pitch and it now appears that a move away from England could be the only solution for him.
However, Wenger says that Wojciech Szczesny still has a future at the club despite being loaned out.
While talking to reporters, Wenger said: “I believe he will have a future at Arsenal Szczesny because I personally rate him highly.”
