Aaron Ramsey issues rallying cry

The Arsenal midfielder has stated that he and the rest of his teammates are looking forward to facing Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday

Arsene Wenger’s men, who won the FA Cup last season, will face Jose Mourinho league champions this Sunday in the English football season curtain raiser. And although the game might not have a lot of significance as compared to other trophies, Ramsey wants the team to do really well and collect the team’s first piece of silverware of the season.

The Wales international scored his team’s second goal in a 3-0 win over Manchester City last year in the same event and is eagerly anticipating the chance to retain the trophy.

The player showed his emotions for the game via Twitter which clearly shows how much he is looking forward to the encounter.

Ramsey wrote: “Looking forward to going back to Wembley this weekend, was a good day last year #AFC #CommunityShield”
