Arsenal joins Liverpool in race for Real Madrid’s Denis Cheryshev

Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger are considering a move for the Russian and Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev, according to the Spanish media.

The 24-year-old Blanco has long been under Liverpool’s radar and last week reports emerged that Brendan Rodgers has tabled up €20m for the youngster. Now,  latest reports say that the Gunners want Cheryshev’s signature too. However Liverpool, who have already signed a handsome number of players this summer, are speculated to be in the driving seat to seal a deal with the Russian winger.

Cheryshev is an interesting player with a bright future ahead of him, however he has been billed to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement which makes it clear that he will be mostly warming the bench for Los Blancos. Thus, Real Madrid are likely to allow him to leave if either of these two English clubs can pitch up an attractive transfer package.
