Arsene Wenger looking to replace Olivier Giroud for fellow countryman

According to reports, the Arsenal manager is looking to bring in Karim Benzema from Real Madrid in the next few days

Arsene Wenger has always been a huge admirer of the former Olympique Lyonnais man who is reportedly not happy with the way he has been treated by the new Real Madrid manager and is looking for a way out from Spain and is reportedly interested in playing in the Premier League.

The North London club has continuously been linked with a move for the striker who scored 21 goals in all competitions last season and reports claim that the Gunners are willing to pay Madrid 45 million pounds to get their hands on the striker who will most possibly be displacing Olivier Giroud from the starting XI.

Giroud and Theo Walcott failed to inspire the team when they lost on the opening day of the season and Wenger is desperate to sign a proven goalscorer before the window closes.
