Arsene Wenger is forced to look into other options for a striker after Karim Benzema deal blew off. Arsenal boss is looking at Edinson Cavani as the possible alternative.
The Uruguayan international has not settled at the French outfit, Paris Saint-Germain as manager Laurent Blanc has forced him to play wide in the flanks where he is yet to find his place.
For the Gunners, Cavani might prove a cheaper alternative to Benzema but in return Wenger gets a younger player with more promising skills and a brighter future.
In addition to Cavani, the Frenchman is also looking into the possibility of acquiring Marco Verratti from the same outfit as the youngster showed his intentions of playing in the Premier League.
“I’ll begin to consider leaving on the day that I no longer feel good at PSG or when the club decides to sell me,” he said. “England, Spain and a return to Italy are possible options. The project is the most important thing.”
