These two enter this game at very different stages of their pre-season. Arsenal have taken a very busy approach in an attempt to be raring to go when the Premier League season kicks off and because of that, this will be their third friendly game.

Chelsea have done the opposite, they have started later and this will be the first time we have seen them this summer. It will be interesting to see if the different approaches have any impact when the season gets going, but for it will certainly suit Arsenal in this game.
Arsenal have won all of their three friendlies so far and their latest victory came in a penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich.

That was a big surprise, and despite being a pre-season game, it will have given the Gunners a lot of confidence.
Due to the schedules, I expect Arsenal to be much fitter in this one and I expect to see their players playing more minutes than the Chelsea players. This should be enough to give Arsenal the edge and win the game, especially as they have won all three of their friendlies so far.
With two different approaches going into this one, it will be fascinating to see the outcome of the game between these two Premier League giants. Arsenal should be favourites because of their build up, but you can never rule out Chelsea, who are beginning their preparation as defending Premier League champions.
