Borussia Dortmund v Freiburg : Bundesliga title wrapped up as party time for Klopp

It is party time in Dortmund this weekend as the Bundesliga Champions celebrate their title success in front of their own fans on Saturday afternoon, as Bet365 announce they have a live stream of the game through their new Bundesliga streaming service.

Borussia Dortmund – who are eight points above Bayern Munich with one game remaining – take on a Freiburg side that sit comfortably in mid-table after an extremely impressive run of form.

There is no doubt that Saturday is all about Dortmund though. With their fans celebrating back to back titles and their players looking to put on a show, it should be a fantastic atmosphere.

You can see why Dortmund have won the title as well. With the pressure on in the final third of the season and Bayern breathing down their neck, Jurgen Klopp’s  men have won five games in succession and not tasted league defeat since September last year.

With the pressure off, they appear to be turning on the style too. Last time out, they hammered FC Kaiserslautern 5-2 away from home and they will be after something similar for the fans to enjoy on Saturday.

As mentioned though, Freiburg are on a fantastic run of form. It wasn’t too long ago that they were looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone. Now, after a run of ten games unbeaten, they are a comfortable ten points clear of the bottom three.

Much like Dortmund, this now means they can enjoy their football this weekend. They could climb to ninth with victory too – presuming other results go their way as well – so there is plenty of motivation to get something on Saturday.

One of the key factors behind their recent success has been their solid defence. In the ten game unbeaten sequence, they have only conceded five goals. Then, going forward, Cedric Makiadi and Daniel Caligiuri have been in fine goalscoring form.

Overall, this should be a cracking match between two confident teams. Dortmund won the reverse fixture 4-1, but Freiburg will consider themselves a different outfit now. This one gets underway at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
