The club have also continued their dominance of the Bundesliga and currently sit top of the table, four points clear following a 6-0 win over Werder Bremen at the weekend.

The big win was all the more impressive considering Robert Lewandowski was an unused substitute and Franck Ribery came on in the second half. Both are expected to start midweek with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thiago Alcantara both out.
