Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he will ensure his side have the utmost respect for Olympiakos when they play out their Champions League encounter on Tuesday as Bet365 report free bets for Olympiakos.
The Gunners have already secured their passage to the knockout stages of the tournament while the Greek outfit have only the slimmest hopes of qualifying as they require 2nd placed Marseille to slip up against bottom of the group Borussia Dortmund while getting the better of Arsenal in order to qualify.
Arsenal are top of Group F by four points from Marseille and are already assured of finishing in top spot while all three sides remain in with a shout of qualifying, and Wenger insists his side will do their best to ensure that they try their best to qualify to keep things fair.
“First, the priority is to respect the competition and to win our game. That is what I will try to do,” said Wenger.
“I will go with a side who has experience and give the chance as well to some young players.”
“I have done that against Manchester City [in the Carling Cup quarter-final], and you could see the team was really up for it.
“The target is to respect the competition, win our game and finish the group stage unbeaten.”
He added: “We haven’t lost a game up until now and I believe we had a very difficult group.”
“Dortmund are certainly the best side in Germany at the moment, Olympiakos and Marseille are not easy games and when you look at where we had to come from against Udinese [in the play-off], I feel we can be quite satisfied with the way we managed to get through.”
Wenger may decide to rest on-fire striker Robin Van Persie along with Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey, with Marouane Chamakh ready to step into the side and lead the line.
