Gianfranco Zola’s men, along with Blackpool and Nottingham Forest, are the only sides in the Championship to have won both their opening games so far while Reading have also made an impressive start beating Ipswich and drawing with Bolton.

Reading boss Nigel Adkins welcomes back winger Jimmy Kebe to the first team squad after a recent groin injury although the Frenchman will not feature as he is eased back into action.

Midfielder Mikele Leigertwood is still out recovering from ankle surgery while striker Jason Roberts is sidelined with a hip injury.
