Coventry Derby Live Stream Ladbrokes Free Bets Offer as Cody McDonald looks to fire Sky Blues

The Saturday evening kick-off in the Championship this week sees Derby County take on Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.

These two teams have had extremely contrasting starts to the new season. Derby have enjoyed a positive first five games, while Coventry seem to be justifying their tag as one of the relegation favourites.

Ladbrokes have been in touch and are offering free bets worth £50 to spend on any football match this weekend to all SqueakyBumTime visitors,  including this evenings Championship encounter. Pick up this exclusive offer here!

Nigel Clough’s Derby did lose their most recent game – a home defeat to Burnley – but they still sit 3rd in the league after victories were secured in the first four games.

This includes two away wins from as many games and they will be hoping to continue this form when they head to Coventry on Saturday evening.

As for the Sky Blues, they sit in the bottom three after two draws and three defeats from the opening five games. They have also only managed two goals so far, so it has been a miserable start for them.

However, highly-rated Cody McDonald – who scored 25 goals on loan at Gillingham last season – has joined them from Premier League new boys Norwich City and he will be hoping to make a difference in front of goal.

It could only take one positive performance in front of their home fans to turn things around, after all. The atmosphere around the club isn’t fantastic, but three points can change all of that.

Derby will be slight favourites given the way in which they have started the season, but Coventry will see this as a winnable game and it should be an entertaining encounter.

When the two teams met at the Ricoh Arena last season, it ended in a 2-1 victory for the home side and there is no doubt they would be delighted with a similar result this time around.

The action gets underway at 5.20pm on Saturday evening.
