While much of the praise for their transformation has been sent the way of manager Sean Dyche, he says the early season success is down to his back room staff.

“We believe in working with the players and they’ve really taken ownership of the work we’ve put in with them on the training field. My staff deserve a lot of credit, and the players equally as much.

“I tend to not worry about the things that you can’t affect. We haven’t got bagfuls of money; there’s no point in asking for it if there’s nothing there.

“We’ve worked with we’ve got and we felt we could still be productive. It’s fair to say we weren’t sure if we could be as productive as we have been, but we’re there now and are looking to build on that.

Despite losing to West Ham in the Capital One cup midweek Dyche and his charges will be confident of securing an 11th win of the season against a Millwall side without a win in four games and 17th in the table.
