Sean Dyche’s side saw their run of 8 straight league wins ended at Millwall last weekend although Shane Lowry’s 55th minute own goal saw the club extend their unbeaten league run to 12 games.

The draw at the Den allowed Leicester move to within a point of top spot and the Tigers will be hoping for their fourth straight win when they face 6th in the table Nottingham Forest.

Third place QPR face a tricky trip away to Reading (you read the preview here).

Bolton meanwhile will hope to continue their climb up the table when they face Millwall.

Dougie Freedman’s side are currently unbeaten in their last six games and will head into the game on the back of an impressive away win over Bournemouth.

The current unbeaten run has eased the pressure on manager Freedman and summer signing Jay Spearing is hoping that his side can keep the run going for as long as possible.

“These last six games we’re unbeaten and the confidence is coming back in to the lads and in the dressing room you can see when you’ve picked up three points, you’re absolutely buzzing” said the former Liverpool midfielder.

“The lads are kicking on and fingers crossed we can hopefully carry on that unbeaten run going in to the weekend.”

Despite their impressive run Bolton have yet to win at home this season and they will hope to end that record against a Millwall side that has claimed just one win and 6 points on the road this season.

Leeds United meanwhile will be without Stephen Warnock and Sam Byram for their trip to Charlton Athletic while Watford will hope for their first win in four when play Middlesbrough.

Third from bottom Birmingham face a tricky test to out of form Huddersfield while Sheffield Wednesday will hope to build on last weekend’s first win of the season when they take on Derby.

Play off hopefuls Blackburn and Brighton do battle at Ewood Park while draw specialists Blackpool, with 6 shared spoils already, will put their seven game unbeaten run on the line against an Ipswich side that has yet to win away.

Elsewhere bottom of the table Yeovil Town face Wigan Athletic side hoping to bounce back from their narrow Europa league defeat to Rubin Kazan while on Sunday Barnsley and Doncaster Rovers meet in a Yorkshire derby.
