The Cherries currently top the table after following up their opening day win over Huddersfield with a 1-0 win over Brentford. Eddie Howe’s side have yet to concede a goal and have already scored five in an impressive start to the season but they face a real test away to a Forest side that is unbeaten under new manager Stuart Pearce.

Forest opened their campaign with a win over Blackpool and they followed up that success with a point away to Bolton thanks to two goals from Britt Assombalonga.

Millwall meanwhile have defied the odds so far this campaign. Last season’s struggles have been cast to one side thanks to back to back wins over Leeds and Fulham. Just like Bournemouth, Millwall have yet to concede a goal this season but they face a tough task extending that run with 9th place Sheffield Wednesday away next up.

Third place Cardiff are also unbeaten this season and after getting their first win of the season at home to Huddersfield they will be keen to kick on against winless Wigan.

Blackburn and Charlton occupy the final two play-off places two games in and they will hope to build on their impressive starts when they take on Norwich and 8th place Derby respectively.

At the bottom of the table, Huddersfield face 7th place Reading hoping to get a first point of the season while Blackpool will fancy their chances against another winless side Brentford.

Brighton were one of last season’s most consistent sides however they are struggling under the guidance of new manager Sami Hyppia so far this season. The Seagulls will hope to pick up their first points of the season away to Leeds.

Elsewhere Birmingham face Ipswich and Rotherham face Watford while on Wednesday, recently relegated Fulham will take on newly promoted Wolves at Craven Cottage looking to pick up their first win of the season after a slow start that includes defeats to Ipswich and Millwall.
