Loic Remy edging closer to Chelsea exit

Reports in English media claim that Chelsea striker, Loic Remy is edging closer to a move away from Stamford Bridge with the striker unsure of his future under Jose Mourinho.

The France international was signed from Queens Park Rangers last year but has been unable to command a regular place in the starting XI largely due to the excellent form of Diego Costa who was signed last summer from Atletico Madrid. And with Mourinho keen on bringing a new striker to the club, it is clear that Remy has no future with the Blues and has asked his agent to start talking with suitors.

West Ham United are keen on signing the former Olympique de Marseille striker with new manager, Slaven Bilic known to be a huge admirer of the player.

Remy is apparently frustrated at his status within the Chelsea hierarchy and has been advised by his agent to seek a move elsewhere if he wants to represent France at the European Championships next summer.
