Former Chelsea player, Paul Canoville is confident that Colombia international, Radamel Falcao is going to be a huge success for his former club.
Falcao is on the verge of sealing a season long move to Jose Mourinho’s side and after a poor last campaign with Manchester United, many expect that the former Porto man might not be able to show the form that made him such a lethal striker a few years back.
But Canoville believes that the AS Monaco man will be a success in London.
“I don’t think he adjusted to the league at Manchester United, but hopefully Jose will be able to bring out the best in him.
“I hope he does come good, we can only see. Jose knows why he’s getting him in and hopefully he’ll do the best for the club.”
“I’ve got to be honest, I wasn’t comfortable when I first heard the reports,” he said.
“I didn’t think he showed very much at Manchester United last season and I didn’t even think he showed a lot at Monaco before that.
“I don’t know if he’s quick enough. We know he scored goals where he was before, but football is a very different game in England.”
