Reports in English media suggest that reigning English Premier League champions, Chelsea are set to offer fellow London club Tottenham Hotspur, 12 million pounds in order to acquire the signature of Belgium international, Moussa Dembele.
The former Fulham midfielder has been one of the most consistent players for the residents of White Hart Lane in recent years and after some really good displays last season, is set to become a serious subject of interest from Stamford Bridge.
Blues manager, Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the midfielder and feels that he can strike a great partnership with Serbian international, Nemanja Matic.
And although the club has held talks with former Arsenal player Alex Song over a possible switch to the other side of London, Mourinho sees Dembele as a better and younger option and is willing to pay 12 million pounds for the player. However, Spurs are holding out on 30 million pounds for their star midfielder which means that this deal will see a lot of drama if it materialises.
