According to reports, Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has convinced the club’s authorities to mount a 12 million euro bid for young Chelsea midfielder, Charly Musonda. The young Belgian is not happy with his current situation under Jose Mourinho and has been told that he cannot be guaranteed regular playing time with the Blues next season.
And with competition for a place in the starting XI really strong, Musonda knows that he must seek new pastures if he wants to continue his development. Reports claim that Wenger is confident that the young Belgian midfielder can turn into one of the biggest stars in the game if treated the right way and has thus asked Arsenal to meet Chelsea’s valuation for the player in a bid to lure him to The Emirates.
Musonda on the other hand, is also keen on playing under the Frenchman who he believes is the perfect mentor for him at this stage in his career.
