Following his move to Arsenal just a few hours ago, former Czech Republic international, Petr Cech has been one of the hottest topics in the media today. The player was the cornerstone of the Chelsea side that rose to prominence a decade ago and guided the team to one of its most successful era.
However, Cech will not be there as the Blues look to start another era under Jose Mourinho. The emergence of Thibaut Courtois in goal meant that Cech would always struggle to be a regular feature in the starting XI and when the chance came to join Arsenal, he did not hesitate to say yet to a move to The Emirates where he will be the club’s number 1.
And Chelsea paid tribute to their departed star on Twitter which goes on to show how much he is still loved in Stamford Bridge despite moving across the town to join the club’s bitter rivals.
