Diego Costa has faith in Jose Mourinho

The Spain international is aware that there will be a lot of competition for a place in the starting XI next season but says that he trusts his manager to make the right call

Following the acquisition of Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco on a season long loan, Jose Mourinho will have a lot of attacking options in front of him when the next season starts.

With the Blues preferring for a single striker in most games, it means that it will be a direct competition between the Colombian and Costa as both players have more or less similar traits. However, Costa believes that his manager will find out the best formula in order to use all players in the squad.

“Mourinho is dedicated exclusively to the work he loves,” said Costa. “Now, the players are on vacation but I’m sure he’ll be back there already. He will put together a program to further enhance the team and the players.”
