The Turkish giants have been extremely busy in the summer transfer window, buying eight players including Robin van Persie and Nani from Manchester United. And although they were very much interested in signing Ramires from Chelsea, it appears that the Turks have cooled down a bit.
After Emre Belozoglu was allowed to leave the club, it had become very clear that Ramires was going to be their next target as the former Newcastle United’s man’s replacement. However, the club’s president, Aziz Yildrim says that the team never made any enquiry for Ramires who is apparently keen on leaving Stamford Bridge this summer and was interested in playing in Turkey.
