The Spain international reportedly had a long one on one meeting with Barcelona’s decision makers and has been allowed to leave Camp Nou this summer
With the way things are going at the moment, it is clear that Pedro no longer has a future with the Catalan giants. The arrival of the likes of Luis Suarez and co means that the Spanish forward was always going to struggle to nail down a regular spot in the Barca starting XI with Luis Enrique preferring to have an offensive triumvirate consisting of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Suarez.
And now, the forward has apparently been given permission to speak to interested clubs including Chelsea who in recent weeks, have been linked with a move for the World Cup winner. There were talks of a 100 million pound clause on his contract but that has apparently been lowered which means that Barca are ready to cash in on him despite Enrique wanting the player to stay.
