The young Danish defender recently joined Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach on a season long loan and revealed that he took advice from his Belgian teammate
The youngster featured in just three games for Jose Mourinho’s outfit last season and after putting in some satisfactory displays for the Blues, was told by the manager to join a team on loan next season so that he could gain first team experience, something that would be hard for him to have if he chose to stay in London.
And Christensen says that he consulted Eden Hazard before making the switch. Hazard’s younger brother, Thorgan Hazard currently plays for Monchengladbach and said that last season’s player of the year advised him to take the Borussia option as it would really help him grow as a player and person.
“I asked Eden Hazard whether his brother Thorgan is happy at Gladbach,” Christensen told Bild. “He said yes.”
