The Croatian midfielder has admitted that he has signed a long term contract with the Blues and will play the next season on loan at Vitesse Arnheim
The young Croatian had been hotly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since the beginning of the new year but the move never materialised due to work permit issues. However, things have change drastically over the past couple of weeks with the player reported to have signed a long term deal with Jose Mourinho’s side back in June but will now be loaned to Arnheim.
No deal transpired however and until recently, it was uncertain where the player would end up, having reached the end of his contract with the Serbian giants, Partizan Belgrade.
“I signed a contract with Chelsea in June but I am now on loan with Vitesse and am I very happy. This is a very good experience for me,” said the young midfielder.
