Jose Mourinho has revealed that the Blues have not approached Everton again over the possible signing of the young English defender
It appears that the Portuguese tactician is not going to add more fuel to the fire in regards to his pursuit of Everton centre back, John Stones. The youngster is highly valued by the Toffees boss Roberto Martinez who has not been impressed with the way his opposite number has acted out lately in terms of his pursuit of the player.
However, Jose Mourinho has defended his stance already, stating that every club needs to earmark players but now, the former Real Madrid manager says that he has not made another bid for Stones, stating that his team does not need other players because he trusts the players he has at his disposal.
“You are speaking with the manager of the best team in England. We are a top team, we have top players. We don’t need other players, we trust these players.”
