The young Brazilian is on the verge of securing a long term deal to Stamford Bridge and will play as a back up to Cesar Azpilicueta
Following the early departure of Brazil international Felipe Luis, Jose Mourinho had been in the market for a left back who could provide cover to Spain international, Cesar Azpilicueta. And now, reports claim that the reigning English champions are closing in on a move for Alex Telles who is currently under contract with Turkish Superlig giants, Galatasaray.
Reports claim that the player is also very keen on moving to Stamford Bridge where he feels that he can become a valuable member of the squad and can prove his worth to the team. Telles, an aggressive full back, can also operate as a defensive midfielder which is perhaps why Mourinho is really interested in bringing him to the club over Baba Rahman of Augsburg whose transfer fee has made things complicated for the Blues.
