The Chelsea captain says that he has been left impressed by Radamel Falcao who has joined the club on loan from AS Monao
Following a poor start to life in the English Premier League last season with Manchester United, not many people expected the Colombian international to return to the country. However, Jose Mourinho took his chances and brought the striker to Stamford Bridge where he has one last shot at redemption.
And although he seemed to be all over the place for the Red Devils, Terry was already convinced that Falcao will be a handful.
While talking to reporters, the defender stated that Falcao was one of the best players he came up against in the league last season.
“Literally after two minutes, he was backing in,” Terry said.
“He did the same to Gary Cahill. The movement as well was excellent. For me, him and Harry Kane were the best players I came up against [last season].
“We had a little tussle on the floor 10 to 15 minutes later. He was up for it, was hungry and his movement and first touch were excellent.
“You get that feel as well. You can tell after a couple of minutes [that] it’s: ‘I’ll give a bit and he’ll give a bit’.
