Chelsea chase Spurs star Danny Rose

The Premier League Champions have specifically asked Tottenham their price tag for left-back Danny Rose.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is willing to splash a fee reported to be somewhere around £15m to lure Rose to Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been hunting for a decent left-back since the very beginning of the transfer market, and Mourinho reportedly believes that Danny Rose could bring an end to their hunt.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, on the other hand, seems quite reluctant to let go of the Englishman, who’s the main strength of their defence. But Tottenham do have a replacement in the form of Ben Davies, if the deal gets done.

The 25-year-old Englishman Danny Rose played a crucial role in Tottenham’s campaign last year, notching up 4 goals and providing¬† 4 assists in 28 appearances for North London club. With these stats in light, Rose could really add vivacity to Chelsea’s defending lines.
