Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been persistently trying to lure John Stones to Stamford Bridge, however Roberto Martinez is adamant to keep the English International
After two rejected attempts, Chelsea made their third bid worth £30m bid for the 21-year-old defender which has been turned down by The Toffees as well. According to reports, Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has also shown an interest in the young defender after failing to sign Los Blancos superstar Sergio Ramos.
However, the Merseyside club’s coach made it clear today that the Everton starlet is not for sale at any price.
”The player is not for sale and that is the end of it.”
He added: “Our situation has been very clear from the beginning. We are not a selling club who will lose our best performers.”
Stones signed five-year contract with Toffees last year that will keep him at Goodison Park until 2019.
