Ghana international Baba Rahman is on the brink of finalising his contract with current Premier League champions Chelsea after passing the medical tests successfully earlier this week.
His tests were planned after Augsburg’s DFB-Pokal’s 3-1 snub last week. The signing was planned to be finalized subject to his medical tests. Augsburg’s sporting executive broke the news of his successful medical exam. Now finalities are being made before Rahman flies to Stamford Bridge.
Rahman had been on Chelsea’s radar for some time now and all the personal details of the contract have already been completed. Chelsea have signed the Ghana left-back for a sum of €30m, all add-ons included.
This will bring a big boost in the 21-year-old’s professional career as he will be playing under the leadership of Jose Mourniho. However, this will be a great test for the youngster as well, as he signs up for the team who is entering the League after a successful 2014-15 campaign.
