Jose Mourinho hails Pedro

The Spaniard really dazzled on his Chelsea debut and scored a goal and provided an assist against West Brom

In their third game of the season, Chelsea downed Tony Pulis’ side 3-2 at the Hawthorns and much of the credit goes to their latest acquisition Pedro who on his debut for the reigning Premier League champions, never looked out of his depth and managed to score one goal and set up another.

And Jose Mourinho, who plucked the winger away from Manchester United, has hailed the former Barcelona man.

He said: “He’s a very good player, there is always a question mark because how many top players come to England and don’t perform immediately.

“People ask if he is the right player, can he adapt?

“We have examples in our club and there are lots of examples in other clubs, it’s very nice for him to perform the way he did.”
