Despite going ahead through Vedad Ibisevic, the Bosnian’s were undone by two second half goals from Dimitris Christofi.

Given their status as top seeds in the group the result was something of a surprise, one Wales will hope to capitalise one.

They will have to do so without two of their key men on Friday with Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey both missing. Liverpool man Allen is out with knee injury while Ramsey misses out with a hamstring complaint.

Manager Chris Coleman is also without James Collins, Paul Dummett and Lee Evans with Declan John, Joe Walsh and Gwion Edwards coming in.

Wales v Bosnia – Bale feeling no pressure

It is the non-appearance of stellar names Allen and Ramsey that will hit Wales the most.

Their absenteeism will put extra pressure on Real Madrid star Gareth Bale not that the forward is feeling the weight of a nation on his shoulders.

“I don’t feel any more pressure,” said Bale.

“I want to go out and do my best for my country and that’s all that I can do.

“They are massive games for us but I think for us we want to concentrate on Friday’s game [against Bosnia] not think about anything else, not think about the next game.

“Just purely concentrate on that and hopefully we can get the win.”

walesBale is very much the form player for his country. He has scored 11 in his last 16 matches for Wales, having scored 3 in his previous 19 games.

Bosnia, meanwhile, have some worries of their own and will be without the injured Goran Zakaric while Emir Spahic is a doubt with a back injury.

Next up for Wales are the game with Bosnia is another home clash, this time with Cyprus and they will hope to head into it with three points in the bag.
