In-form Ronaldo will look to keep his hot streak going when Real Madrid take on Almeira on Saturday, in a game which is live streaming with Bet365 (19:00GMT).

The Portuguese forward scored four goals in the play-offs to guide his country to the World Cup with a 4-2 aggregate win over Sweden.

The 28 year old tipped to win the Ballon D’or has scored 16 goals in 13 league games and already has 32 goals for club and country this season.

His form has led to worldwide praise with his club manager Carlo Ancelotti joining in on the act hailing his star man’s recent performances “I really like seeing him play because at the moment he is incredible and he is playing extraordinary football.

I think that it would be a big decision not to give the Ballon d’Or to Cristiano Ronaldo. I hope he does win it because he deserves it”.

Despite Ronaldo’s best efforts Madrid are currently six points behind leaders Barcelona and they will need to win against their struggling hosts to keep pace at the top.

Madrid have scored 15 goals in their last three games with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema joining Ronaldo in the goal scoring. Welsh star Bale has emerged as key man in recent weeks with three goals and four assists in his last four games for Madrid.

The trio will once again lead the line for Carlo Ancelotti’s side on Saturday although Ancelotti revealed that he could tinker with his formation following the ligament injury suffered by Sami Khedira.

The midfielder faces six months on the side lines after suffering a torn cruciate ligament in the 1-1 draw with Italy last week.

The injury means that one of Casemiro or Asier Illarramendi will partner Xabi Alonso in the middle of the field with Ancelotti telling Real Madrid TV that he has not yet made a decision on who will replace the German star.
“It forces you decide whether to continue with this system and put in a player with the same characteristics or whether to change it. We have several solutions”

“There is no particular system you win or lose with. The squad is very good and it has a combination of experience, quality and the enthusiasm of the younger players. We could have a great season”.

Marcelo is set to return after a recent knee injury while Fabio Coentrao is still struggling with a thigh injury.

Almeria meanwhile may be 17th in the table but they will head into the game buoyed by three successive wins over Valencia, Osasuna and Real Valladolid.
