Liverpool have reportedly sent their representative to Croatia in a bid to thrash out personal terms with Internazionale midfielder, Mateo Kovacic. The young playmaker has been in sparkling form for the Italia Serie A giants in the past few seasons and is rumoured to be keen on making a switch to Anfield in a bid to further his development and broaden his horizons.
Reports also claim that the Reds may have already agreed upon a transfer fee with Internazionale who are keen on using the fee to fund moves for other targets.
The English outfit has attracted a lot of criticism for the recent signing of Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers with fans stating that the club lacks ambition after a poor 2014/14 campaign in which they failed to seal a place in the top four. And now, Brendan Rodgers’ side is keen on turning things around and bring in quality players who can fill the void that has been left following the departures of Luis Suarez (last summer) and Steven Gerrard who will be playing in the MLS with LA Galaxy.
